What is the NURO Consortium?

The NURO Consortium is a group of institutions that share 120 nights per year on Lowell Observatory's 31-inch telescope. Instrumentation and observer support are provided through Northern Arizona University's Department of Physics and Astronomy. Each member school pays an annual membership fee, and then brings its students out to observe. Faculty members and students at the member schools collaborate on key research projects, as well as conduct their own private research. The Consortium is currently seeking new members; if you are interested, please see our FAQ.
