NAU Space Grant Travel Funds for NURO Observers
The Arizona Space Grant has a small budget allocated for NURO observers. These funds are expected to be used only for students, and only as matching funds. As one might expect, there are several hoops to jump through in order to obtaing this funding.
How to apply: The request for Space Grant funding is included on the NURO Observing Request form. (See the Info for Observers page.) Each observing run is limited to a request of $500. To find out whether or not your request has been granted, e-mail to Ed Anderson at ed.anderson (at) nau.edu.
What to do:
Before you leave Flagstaff: Have each of your students fill out the Student Questionnaire (here are both .doc and .pdf versions), and leave the questionnaires with Ed.
Within one month of travel: Original receipts must be submitted within one month of travel along with the Request for Reimbursement form (here it is in both .xls and .pdf versions). It may not be possible to reimburse receipts received later than that. Submit both the form and the receipts to
